The Northumbrian Mountaineering Club (NMC) recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.

The Interesting Bit
|
|
The NMC welcomes climbers, fell walkers and mountaineers of all abilities. Our activities largely centre on rock-climbing in the summer, snow and ice climbing in winter, with meets of various kinds held throughout the year.
|
|
Our members' interests also include mountain biking, skiing, walking, power kiting and a few other activities as well. We have regular Wednesday evening meets throughout the year. In the summer these are held at various crags around the County whilst in the winter we visit the local climbing walls.
