I managed to click them and they expanded to normal size. Steve- there are baffling amounts of settings for input of photos and I struggle to comprehend. By adding functionality you have lost usability to all but the most expert. Can you publish a step-by-step guide, somewhere obvious for all to see, explaining how to do it with worked example?:S
I agree with where you're coming from Colin, well sort of. the unfortunate thing is that the Gallery is an off-the-shelf package, so to speak, and the options open to me to direct its functionality are extremely limited. I doubt I'd be ale to generate a step-by-step guide that was anything other than extremely cumbersome and prolly unintelligible. Perhaps you might fare better if you followed something similar to the route I follow and pick one methodology and stick with it?
When I'm uploading I prepare my images to something like 800x600, for "landscape" orientated images, or 600x800 for "portrait" images. then, on the "upload" page I slect the second tab-option from the left, the one entitled "Upload Applet". It let's you do a few things before you upload, but I use it because it makes it easier (for me) to see what's going on before I upload. The options further to the right are discombobulteringly confusing so I avoid, like the proverbial plague.
Is that any help?
Cheors,
