Wed night meet 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago  
Hi as a prospective member I was hoping to come to the Wed evening meet. Forecast looks a bit grim. Are there plans to meet anywhere else if the forecast is to be believed.

Well where the meet is does have a microclimate like behavior, when it's dry and warm 10 miles away it can be horizontal rain on the Wanneys, so expect the worst.

I think the venue will be discussed on here. I'll be going to the pub, but others will retreat to indoor walls - Sunderland and Newburn seem to be the favourites..

Hmmm - this forecast looks OK to me?

light rain in the morning - bit of a wind but enough to dry it out especially with that gorgeous evening sun...

OH and I'll not be heading to the pub on the grounds it's a ridiculous way to go I still reckon the Gun in Ridsdale would be pleased to see us.. and there's the Bay Horse Inn in West Woodburn. Not that I've actually been to either in years mind!

metcheck (with a postcode - it's hidden in a blue clicky thing because the system had problems with creating a link with the parameters

The manual method: http://www.metcheck.com/
postocode for east woodburn is NE48 2SQ (or near enough anyway)

5-ish, earlier if I can push it but I'm flexible.

Lift available if you want it... usual caveat, need to find another way back to Newcastle on account of me living out with there with the sheep.

If I dont get caught up at work, the earliest I can get there is 1716. Otherwise it will be 1728.

Is that ok?
