The plan is to go up Cheviot from Langleeford via the Langlee Valley and Cairn Hill. Return by the eastern edge of the Bizzle and Goldscleugh if the plateau is frozen, or by the fence if not. Meet at confluence of Hawsen and Harthope burns, NT 954225, at 10 am, or to share cars at the Ridley Arms in Stannington at 9 am. Let me know if you plan to come along either by e mail or by phone, 01670 515263

You haven't mentioned full on winter kit! Not many presidential walks were held in proper winter conditions, were there? Shame I'm missing all the actions.

Sarah's just been up Hedgehope today from Breamish, waist deep snow plodding on the lower slopes. Have fun anyhow, it looks very pretty up there from her photos.

Hope the walk went well - I was up at Callaly yesterday and it looked a bit cold and snowy on the tops.
