The Hermitage

A small cottage called 'The Hermitage' is situated just 20 metres from Bowderstone Cottage.

It is for use by NMC members only.
The Hermitage has no toilet or shower facilities so it shares those of the cottage.

There is no formal booking system for the Hermitage, but NMC members are asked to notify the Hut Booking Secretary of planned visits to reduce the risk of demand exceeding beds.

Priority will go to those giving prior notice.
Members receive an electronic key to both huts on payment of a £10 deposit.
Keys are not transferrable and are made inoperative when membership ceases, eg on non-payment of subscription.
