Climb Newcastle WBS Round 4
This Friday sees the return of the Winter Bouldering Series with the 4th and penultimate round.
If you are familiar with the format you will know that you can come down any time between 1pm and 9pm to try 35 problems from very easy to ridiculously hard, with a guaranteed £500 of prizes to be raffled at the end of the night.
The Climb Newcastle Winter Bouldering Series is one of the most accessible climbing competitions you could ever attend, with plenty to go at even if you are new to the sport.

NIHP - Free Functional Movement Screens
As an opportunity for yourselves or athletes that you know (recreational to elite), there will be a day of Free Functional Movement Screens at the 'Northern Integrative Health Practice' in Sacriston, County Durham (Saturday 13th Feb). If you are interested please read/forward the attached doc.

DCC - Junior Climbing Event
The Durham Climbing Centre are hosting their first Junior Climbing Event for 7 - 12 years.
The event is suitable for beginner and advanced young climbers.
There is a competition including 20 problems of all abilities as well as games and prizes!!
Brand new problems will be set for the Juniors so will have never been climbed before!
Phone the centre to book a place - only £10 per child.
NCC - New routes and circuits!
Latest from the Newcastle Climbing Centre:- "The route setters have been very busy to bring you 25 new lines for you to lead & top rope on and 4 new bouldering circuits, so there is plenty to go at during the winter months. The centre would like to thank customers for there patience during this route setting period..."
Also during February you can boulder all day, every day for only £5.
